This program is aimed to provide practical information on anesthesia safety topics such as evidence based practice in anesthesia, post-operative long term effects and visual loss, and special considerations for bariatric surgery patients and current modalities for the treatment of pain. Controversies in anesthesia practice will be debated by our speakers and presented to the practitioner by our panels each day. The program will also concentrate on current political and legislative issues concerning the clinical practice of anesthesia and the new focus on the doctorate of nursing practice.
